Easy Chocolate Pudding {dairy free, vegan, top 8 free}
Ingredients
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 2 T. cold water
- 1 1/4 cups dairy free milk alternative
- 1/4 t. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
Directions
- Mix cornstarch with water and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients, including cornstarch mixture.
- Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Pudding will thicken as cooled.
- If too thick, add additional dairy free milk until desired thickness is achieved.
- If pudding doesn't set, create another cornstarch mixture and add to pudding, then repeat steps 3 through 6.
